Responsibilities
- Evaluate and recommend test automation tools and technologies based on project requirements and scalability needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks.
- Define and implement automation standards, best practices, and reusable solutions across the Fraud domain.
- Provide technical guidance and support to automation testers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to communicate framework requirements and capabilities.
- Work with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other Scrum team members to integrate automation into the development lifecycle.
- Develop and execute mobile application automation using Appium.
- Perform performance testing with Apache JMeter.
- Use LLMs and AI tools to build automation assistants or agents that improve testing efficiency.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in QA and test automation.
- Strong programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
- Experience developing automated tests for user interfaces, APIs, and databases, including SQL queries.
- Experience testing web services, APIs, and web applications.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins.
- Ability to create and manage test plans, test strategies, and structured test cases.
- Strong knowledge of testing techniques and behavior-driven development with Cucumber.
- Experience testing microservices architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Rest Assured, Appium, and Apache JMeter.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions for pipeline execution and Postman for manual API testing.
- Strong documentation skills covering test reports, bug reports, and test completion reports.
- Certified Tester Test Automation Engineer certification, advanced ISTQB qualifications, a Computer Science or similar degree, and Agile software development experience are desirable.
