Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop reusable cloud architecture patterns, platform services, APIs, integrations, and self-service capabilities.
- Implement high availability, disaster recovery, multi-region deployment, containerization, and cloud-native modernization strategies.
- Develop automation tools and cloud-native services using Python, Go, Java, or Bash.
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, release processes, rollback capabilities, and DevSecOps controls.
- Implement cloud security practices covering IAM, secrets management, encryption, policy enforcement, and enterprise compliance.
- Improve observability, deployment reliability, developer productivity, and operational excellence.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring, participate in architecture reviews, evaluate technologies, and lead cloud transformation initiatives.
- Lead root-cause analysis of complex production incidents and define long-term corrective actions.
- Collaborate with software engineering, architecture, security, operations, product, infrastructure, project management, and development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 4+ years of relevant experience; or a master's degree plus 3+ years; or a PhD plus 2+ years.
- 2+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms, multi-cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, container orchestration, CI/CD, source control, build and dependency management, monitoring, and observability.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages including Python and PowerShell, with an interest in automation.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Git, GitLab, JFrog, GitOps practices, SonarQube, Maven, or Gradle.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
