Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop open-source and Azure Functions platform components using C# and other programming languages.
- Build and ship features and tools for cloud-native and AI-powered applications.
- Implement, test, debug, review, and maintain product feature code with appropriate coverage and minimal supervision.
- Apply reliability, diagnosability, maintainability, performance, scalability, and security best practices.
- Contribute to production and deployment automation, including zero-touch deployment initiatives.
- Improve software developer tools and collaborate with engineers and internal stakeholders on customer and user requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C#, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud background check and other applicable security screening requirements.
- Deep C#/.NET expertise is highly preferred.
- 4+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and shipping software using C#/F#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Rust is preferred.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud services, AI/ML workloads, .NET performance optimization, troubleshooting complex online-service issues, or Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are preferred.
