Base Salary

$128k - $209k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack solutions using Next.js, Java, and Spring Boot.
  • Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, coding standards, and engineering mentorship.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX, and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Drive CI/CD automation, test coverage, observability, cloud-native design, and continuous improvement.
  • Make technical decisions and contribute to platform strategy, architecture planning, and component roadmaps.
  • Perform software implementation, problem solving, maintenance, and support.

Requirements

  • Professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.
  • Strong expertise with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, microservices, and REST API design.
  • Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring engineering teams.
  • Experience deploying and operating solutions on AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager, including component architecture and authoring workflows.
  • Preferred: experience with enterprise eCommerce platforms such as HCL Commerce, Shopify Plus, Magento, or similar.
  • Preferred: knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL, caching strategies, SSR, edge rendering, or other advanced web patterns.
  • Prior Caterpillar experience or experience with industrial, heavy equipment, or IoT platform ecosystems is preferred.
