Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to provide feedback and create clear, estimable technical designs.
- Deliver tested, high-quality technical implementations that meet requirements.
- Account for performance and memory budget impacts in technical implementations.
- Develop tooling and workflow enhancements that improve team efficiency.
- Contribute architecturally sound systems to core EA technologies and collaborative development efforts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of programming experience focused on C++ code.
- Understanding of C++ language, best practices, and architectural considerations.
- Experience with engine development and embedded systems.
- Experience with parallel programming considerations, resource management, and hardware architecture.
- Experience with performance and memory profiling tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with artists, designers, producers, and other non-technical partners.
- Interest and experience in systems-level software development.

- Hybrid work arrangement requiring three days per week at the EAV Studio in Burnaby, British Columbia, Tuesday through Thursday.
