Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support healthcare integration solutions using Mirth Connect, HL7, FHIR, CCDA, and X12 EDI.
- Develop backend applications with .NET and SQL Server, including optimized queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions.
- Support client onboarding, deployments, UAT, production releases, and post-production activities.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, Infrastructure, customer teams, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, technical estimations, and Agile Scrum ceremonies.
- Mentor junior developers on healthcare integration standards and coding practices.
- Monitor quality, identify defects, drive corrective actions, and lead continuous process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience, including at least 6 years in software development.
- B.E., B.Tech., MCA, or equivalent qualification.
- Hands-on experience with Mirth Connect or NextGen Connect, HL7 v2.x, FHIR R4, and CCDA.
- Experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Web API, SQL Server, REST APIs, JSON, XML, XSLT, and XPath.
- Experience with X12 EDI transactions including 270/271, 276/277, 278, 834, 835, and 837.
- Strong SQL Server skills covering stored procedures, functions, views, performance tuning, and query optimization.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps or TFS, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and managing multiple priorities within committed timelines.
- US Healthcare and healthcare interoperability experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to mentor developers and support technical leadership, client communication, and quality improvement activities.
