Base Salary
$88k - $146k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a customer-facing technical subject matter expert for Turnitin’s Integrity and Assessment products.
- Lead or support customer meetings, product overviews, tailored demonstrations, workflow discussions, and business case presentations.
- Resolve technical product inquiries and advise on technical, integration, and product-related questions for RFP and RFI responses.
- Build value-focused business cases and support strategic sales planning to influence customer buying decisions and deal closure.
- Manage client trials, pilots, and proofs of concept with clear evaluation criteria and successful outcomes.
- Conduct technical discovery with customer stakeholders, gather requirements and constraints, and document future-state workflows.
- Synthesize customer feedback, competitive insights, and feature requests for Product, Marketing, and senior leadership.
- Contribute to mentorship, best-practice sharing, and the growth of the global Solutions Engineering organization.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, technical pre-sales, or technical consulting in EdTech or enterprise SaaS.
- Strong consultative selling and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to executive, academic, and technical audiences.
- Proven experience managing technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and RFP responses in complex sales cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer workflows, complex integrations, requirements gathering, and change management.
- Experience with LMS, LTI standards, and REST APIs is a plus.
- Must be able to regularly adjust schedules across global time zones for collaboration within a global function.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and a flexible, humble, customer-focused approach.
