Base Salary

$174k - $261k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, deploy, and support cloud-native platforms managing millions of connected broadband devices.
  • Develop scalable applications, APIs, and microservices.
  • Lead technical design, architecture, and platform evolution using TR-069 (CWMP) and TR-369 (USP).
  • Build and operate highly available solutions on AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Improve reliability through automation, observability, CI/CD, testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and participate in on-call support.
  • Use AI-powered tools across development, testing, monitoring, operations, and engineering productivity.
  • Collaborate with product, architecture, security, operations, and vendor teams.
  • Lead technical initiatives, influence architecture decisions, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of software engineering experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong expertise in broadband device management technologies, including TR-069 (CWMP) and TR-369 (USP).
  • Hands-on development experience with Java and/or Python.
  • Experience developing cloud-native applications in AWS.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, containers, microservices, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and independent execution skills.
  • Experience supporting platforms managing millions of broadband devices.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or ELK.
  • Experience applying AI to software development, testing, operations, or intelligent automation.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, influence architecture decisions, and mentor engineers.
