Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and optimise scalable cloud-native full-stack solutions for Consumer Cards products.
- Develop modern front-end experiences and back-end services using Next.js, TypeScript, C#, .NET, GraphQL, and AWS.
- Own platform architecture involving microservices, event-driven integrations, APIs, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
- Provide technical leadership, shape the engineering roadmap, influence architecture, and drive technical uplift across squads.
- Mentor engineers and contractors and grow engineering capability across the team.
- Champion engineering standards, CI/CD, test automation, observability, DevSecOps, and reliable production support.
- Apply AI-assisted development and emerging agentic patterns to improve developer productivity and system design.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Next.js and TypeScript, with full-stack ownership across design, build, run, and optimisation.
- Experience with C#, .NET, GraphQL, PostgreSQL or other relational databases, REST APIs, and API design practices.
- Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, and RDS, plus microservices and event-driven systems.
- Knowledge of integration, contract, non-functional, and API testing, test automation frameworks, and Playwright.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, vulnerability management and remediation, and secrets management.
- Experience with CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, metrics, logging, alerting, and production support.
- Exposure to LLMs, prompt and context engineering, AI coding assistants, MCP, RAG fundamentals, agentic AI concepts, or agent orchestration.
- Ability to operate as a technical subject matter expert and engineering leader while remaining deeply hands-on.
