Responsibilities
- Work with customers to understand database challenges, resolve critical escalations, and teach best practices.
- Design and implement RDS PostgreSQL features, enhancements, automation, metrics, and performance improvements.
- Represent customer needs in feature planning and create end-to-end test scenarios.
- Diagnose and permanently resolve software and database defects.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Engage with the open-source community through forums, conferences, and feature or bug-fix code submissions.
- Develop expertise in additional database engines beyond PostgreSQL.
Requirements
- Experience in Postgres is required.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
