Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for frontend architecture and tooling.
- Lead complex UI work in React and TypeScript.
- Push the Brisk Extension forward across various platforms.
- Reverse-engineer external surfaces for better integrations.
- Implement telemetry and monitoring for frontend performance.
- Own frontend performance metrics and improvements.
- Champion accessibility in product development.
- Build and evolve the Brisk design system.
- Define and maintain testing strategies across code layers.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions.
- Contribute to backend services in Python and Flask.
- Devise database persistence architecture.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with telemetry and observability tools.
- Proven track record in leading frontend performance work.
- Expertise in accessibility standards and practices.
- Deep knowledge of React and TypeScript.
- Fluency with browser APIs and the DOM.
- Ability to reverse-engineer external surfaces.
- Strong CSS and layout fundamentals.
- Experience leading design systems and component libraries.
- A user-centered mindset with attention to detail.
