Responsibilities

Design, scale, and maintain automation frameworks for complex SaaS and distributed data architectures.
Integrate automated test suites into GitHub Actions and Jenkins pipelines.
Drive UI, API, integration, performance, resilience, and data-integrity automation across the product stack.
Serve as the technical authority for the QA automation team by setting coding standards, conducting code reviews, and reducing framework technical debt.
Coach junior automation engineers and help functional QA testers transition to automated testing practices.
Allocate engineering capacity across feature testing, framework improvements, and technical debt reduction.
Own final quality sign-off for platform releases and stop deployments when quality thresholds are not met.
Collaborate with Product Management, Core Engineering, DevOps, and Sustaining Engineering on test strategy and defect reproduction.
Track and eliminate flaky tests and report coverage, pass rates, execution time, and defect leakage metrics.
Use AI tools to accelerate test generation, optimize test suites, and identify defect hot spots.

Strong experience as a Senior SDET or QA Automation Lead testing enterprise SaaS, distributed systems, big data engines, or data platforms.
Deep expertise in Java, Python, or Go and modern testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or custom frameworks.
Exceptional SQL skills and API testing expertise.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus GitHub-based version control workflows.
Experience using AI assistants and generative AI tools for test suites, mock data, and test-failure analysis.
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to advocate for quality metrics collaboratively.
