Responsibilities
- Research and develop novel approaches to improve model performance on document understanding and negotiation tasks.
- Design and run experiments to evaluate new AI architectures and fine-tuning methods.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research insights into production-ready systems.
- Develop benchmarks and evaluation frameworks to measure model performance rigorously.
- Incorporate modern AI techniques to enhance outcomes in legal workflows.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align research efforts with real-world needs.
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of experience in AI research, machine learning, or applied NLP.
- Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical methods.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, transformers, and modern NLP techniques.
- Experience in running experiments and evaluating model performance rigorously.
- Proficient in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate challenges into research directions.
- Effective communicator capable of collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.
- Curious and driven, with a passion for applying research to high-impact problems.
