Responsibilities

  • Support the continued implementation and operational support of a Manufacturing Execution System for semiconductor wafer processing.
  • Configure the MES and maintain the system data and underlying relational database.
  • Populate, query, manipulate, and organize data, including providing data-mining and administrative support.
  • Track and support information related to facility maintenance, wafer-fab parametric data, and CPFC activity history.
  • Provide basic in-house client support and maintain the organization’s internal website when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, physical or chemical engineering, or materials science engineering, or computer skills gained through another university program or community college combined with significant relevant experience.
  • Two to six years of significant experience using an MES system in a semiconductor environment.
  • Two to six years of significant experience configuring an MES system.
  • Two to six years of significant experience populating and querying relational databases.
  • Two to six years of significant and recent experience manipulating and organizing data, with recent experience acquired within the last three to five years.
  • Basic experience providing in-house client support.
  • Knowledge of MES systems in semiconductor wafer fabrication, relational databases and SQL, and efficient extraction, manipulation, and organization of large datasets.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor wafer-level manufacturing methods, processes, and terminology; website programming and maintenance is an asset.
  • Ability to meet Reliability Status screening requirements, including five years of background-information verification.
