Base Salary

$200k - $230k/yr

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Implement software solutions according to estimates.
Maintain and deliver Forge data to internal and external clients through the data platform.
Improve and maintain internal user interfaces for interacting with data.
Perform feature maintenance, code reviews, unit testing, and production deployments.
Stay current with data-engineering trends and advocate for appropriate technology adoption.
Manage changes from planning through deployment with hands-on backend and frontend coding.

3–5+ years of development experience with object-oriented languages such as TypeScript, C#, and Java.
Experience with Python for data tasks.
Experience with frontend toolkits including React and Tailwind CSS.
Familiarity with modern data architectures such as Medallion architectures and data lakes.
Experience with private markets or financial-services data.
Expertise setting up CI/CD pipelines, data orchestration, application deployments, and code quality practices.
Strong project-management skills and hands-on backend and frontend development experience.
Proficiency with PostgreSQL, SQL queries, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Extensive experience with Git and GitHub.
Familiarity with Agile project-management tools such as JIRA.
Preferred: experience migrating legacy architectures, real-time data processing, event-driven architectures using WebSockets or Kafka, leading offshore or nearshore teams, and using large language models and agentic workflows.

Hybrid work arrangement requiring 2–3 days per week in the Soho, New York office.
Background checks include employment and education verification, state and county criminal-history searches, fingerprinting, and drug testing.
