Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Configure CI/CD pipelines for multiple web applications and perform application builds, automated testing, and security scans.
- Deploy applications to development, staging, and operations environments.
- Implement infrastructure as code and configuration management, including authoring Helm charts for OpenShift.
- Manage system security, software updates, documentation, architecture diagrams, and compliance evidence.
- Improve observability, monitoring, logging, incident response, system configuration, scalability, and operational resilience.
- Manage web application networking, databases, identity integrations, and existing code repositories.
- Research, design, develop, test, debug, and enhance complex enterprise software and cloud solutions.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation and present findings to management or customer personnel.
Requirements
- Minimum six years of directly related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering, or a related field, or two additional years of information technology experience.
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems and CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- Experience with Argo CD, GitOps-style operations, web server management, DNS, certificate management, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Knowledge of OIDC, OAuth, HTTP API design, TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, container monitoring and logging, and network and container security.
- Experience deploying and managing databases, interacting with databases using SQL and ORMs, and writing Python and Bash tooling.
- Ability to contribute code updates, design software systems, and create application architecture diagrams.
- Experience integrating security components with applications and databases.
- Technical certifications such as Network+, Security+, or CISSP are desired, along with TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
- Desired experience includes configuration management, zero-downtime Elasticsearch re-indexing, observability tools, reverse proxies, Agile software delivery, systems engineering, project or program management, and NGA enterprise products.
