Base Salary

$94k - $125k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend systems owned by the User Systems team.
Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers, quality assurance, and product managers.
Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Participate in design and code reviews and write and maintain tests.
Document systems for long-term maintainability.
Serve as a first responder in an on-call rotation for team-owned software.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and/or 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
Experience with at least one major programming language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust, Java, Go, Python, or C#.
Comfort working on a team that utilizes multiple programming languages.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Familiarity with DevOps principles.
A sense of ownership and accountability and a passion for software development and continuous learning.
