Base Salary
$102k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for analytics, ML, and operational reporting.
- Develop data ingestion, transformation, integration workflows, data APIs, and interfaces using Python, SQL, REST, and GraphQL.
- Use GCP services including Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Functions, and GKE.
- Operationalize NLP and ML data pipelines for structured and unstructured healthcare data such as Rx claims and clinical documents.
- Implement observability, data quality, monitoring, alerting, CI/CD, and infrastructure drift detection for data platforms.
- Provision and manage infrastructure with Terraform or Pulumi, Kubernetes, GCP networking, IAM, secrets management, and environment configuration.
- Drive cloud cost governance and implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
- Collaborate with Data Science, MLOps, Security, and Platform teams on production integration and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building data pipelines or backend data workflows with Python, Java, or similar languages.
- At least 2 years of experience designing REST/GraphQL data services or integrating data APIs.
- At least 2 years of experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience, preferably with Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience is also accepted.
- Preferred experience includes production ML/AI model integration, healthcare datasets, GCP services, GenAI pipelines, LLM workflows, NLP services, secure GCP networking, and FinOps practices.
