Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable application solutions.
- Design, develop, support, and modernize full-stack applications across application, data, cloud, authentication, and authorization domains.
- Lead application modernization initiatives and cloud-native transformation strategies.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and container-based architectures.
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards, security requirements, performance, scalability, reliability, and best practices.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, and delivery teams to develop optimized application solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, work sessions, and solution reviews with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor, guide, and coach junior developers and technical team members.
- Support application modernization offerings, reusable solution accelerators, technical communities, and capability-building initiatives.
- Contribute to delivery methodologies, standards, best practices, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 5+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
- Experience in application development, support, and modernization projects, including at least 3 Agile-based development projects.
- Experience delivering at least 2 large-scale cloud application development or modernization programs.
- Hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications and working with microservices-based architectures.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native design principles, containerization, stateless application design, 12-Factor App methodology, and API-first development.
- Backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SOAP Services, XML/JSON, Maven or Gradle, and API integration.
- Frontend experience with React, HTML5, and CSS3; familiarity with Angular, VueJS, or ExpressJS is preferred.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Microsoft Azure, containerized application development, SQL and NoSQL databases, and Apache Tomcat.
- Familiarity with application performance and infrastructure monitoring tools such as New Relic and Splunk.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD frameworks, source code management, and automated deployment processes.
- Preferred experience includes microservices architecture, Domain Driven Design, listed database and middleware technologies, API management, and DevOps tools.
- A master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
