Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of scalable web and mobile solutions.
- Define development standards, testing practices, and technical quality benchmarks.
- Design and implement high-quality software features.
- Develop and oversee integrations with external platforms and third-party services.
- Review technical designs and assess solution impacts across the product ecosystem.
- Build cloud-native, scalable solutions aligned with architectural and containerization principles.
- Collaborate with engineering, testing, design, and product teams.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, legal, and architectural standards.
- Support recruitment, mentoring, and capability development within the engineering team.
- Maintain comprehensive technical and product documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience leading software development teams and coaching engineers in an Agile environment.
- Strong expertise in API development, AWS cloud technologies, and modern web development frameworks and languages.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, influence technical decisions, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience delivering scalable, user-centred solutions within a global organisation.
