Responsibilities
- Use rapid application development techniques to deliver high-profile projects directly on the trading floor.
- Build and enhance trading framework software and algorithmic tools in collaboration with traders and quants.
- Translate trader and business needs into technical solutions in a trader-facing capacity.
- Provide L2/L3 support for the trading platform and algorithmic tools.
- Report and track performance indicators for electronic and algorithmic trading, back-testing, and data management systems.
- Monitor data-fetching processes and data health, and contribute to the design and implementation of data stores and APIs.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
- Comfort working within a Windows infrastructure.
- Experience with school or university projects in Java.
- 0–1 years of experience, with relevant internships and technical projects accepted for fresh graduates.
- Basic understanding of financial markets, particularly equities and derivatives.
- A strong problem-solving mindset and proactive, motivated approach.
- Python or other scripting experience is welcomed; exposure to Rust or Go is advantageous.
