Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain game-client features, content, existing systems, and platform features using C++ and visual scripting.
  • Resolve technical issues, troubleshoot bugs, and help deliver a stable, high-quality gameplay experience.
  • Interpret game design requirements and collaborate with engineers, producers, game designers, art, design, and production teams.
  • Integrate and maintain third-party libraries and SDKs.
  • Develop tools and improve workflows for cross-functional teams.
  • Support live-service operations and collaborate with publishing partners on technical support.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, bug fixing, task estimation, and time management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of software development experience, preferably in the video game industry with live-service experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and experience developing varied game features and content.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX implementation workflows, object-oriented design, software architecture, and software engineering best practices.
  • Experience shipping at least one commercial video game title; live-service experience is a plus.
  • Experience or knowledge of networking, rendering, AI, animation systems, visual scripting systems, commercial game-engine UI frameworks, or mobile game development is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with modern AI-assisted and agentic engineering tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, ownership, accountability, and communication skills; Korean or English proficiency is preferred but not required.
