Responsibilities
- Contribute test code alongside developers and established engineering frameworks.
- Develop and maintain functional and non-functional automated testing and support CI/CD pipelines with fast, reliable feedback.
- Perform system, integration, regression, exploratory, and performance testing across the stack.
- Participate in pull-request reviews and promote code quality and testing standards.
- Track test coverage and cases and manage QA work and defects in JIRA.
- Validate backend data with SQL, test middleware, and build mock services for isolated test scenarios.
- Identify delivery-process friction and help improve team practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Quality Assurance or Test Engineering experience, including automated and manual testing.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for productivity in quality engineering, especially test automation.
- Experience with at least one of C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright or Appium.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, test automation design patterns, BDD/TDD, and modern testing frameworks.
- SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
- Experience with SaaS and cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Experience with middleware testing, mock services, distributed source control, and session-based exploratory testing.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, adaptability, ownership, and attention to detail.
