Responsibilities
- Develop code using Java, Spring, and NoSQL technologies
- Solve technical problems using current technologies and best practices
- Propose alternative solutions and explain the advantages of the selected approach
- Ensure all aspects of the technical design are correctly incorporated
- Provide technical expertise across projects as required
Requirements
- At least 8 years of Java/J2EE development experience
- Experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework
- Experience with microservices and API/RESTful design
- Experience with JUnit and Mockito
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or Redis
- Experience working with agile methodologies and Git/Git-Flow version control
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Azure
- Knowledge of Kafka, CI/CD, Spring WebFlux, NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra, and Azure Databricks
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or another specific technical field preferred, or equivalent practical experience
