Base Salary
$168k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assess prospects’ applications for suitability with Temporal’s platform.
- Educate customers and prospects on Temporal’s platform and cloud-service benefits and limitations.
- Position Temporal against competing technologies and architectural patterns.
- Drive adoption and expansion of Temporal in customers’ production environments.
- Build application prototypes and provide design, development, build, and deployment guidance.
- Advise on distributed systems, application patterns, platform architectures, and production operations.
- Manage technical relationships with customer decision-makers and help them leverage Temporal’s capabilities.
- Partner with Sales Account Executives on account plans, opportunity scoping, sizing, technical fit, and challenges.
Requirements
- Reside within the Western Time Zone; San Francisco and Denver are preferred.
- Demonstrate exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
- Have a deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
- Be proficient in at least one of Temporal’s supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
- Understand production considerations including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
- Have experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly used application development and production services.
