Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build AI teammate capabilities from research thesis through working product.
- Implement Applied Scientist experiments and translate research results into production software.
- Deploy into product teams and drive integration, adoption, measurement, and customer usage.
- Diagnose breakdowns in host-team adoption and correct underlying causes.
- Partner with UX designers, product teams, and other organizations on complete AI experiences.
- Transfer architecture, scaling knowledge, documentation, and tests to product teams.
- Write tested code, review code, operate Lab systems, and present work in internal reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience delivering complex software systems successfully to customers.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with machine learning and large language model fundamentals, agent frameworks, native mobile applications, multimodal input or output, and interaction craft.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $143,700.00-$194,400.00 annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
