Base Salary
$189k - $256k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build new backend systems and APIs for user-facing features.
- Evolve and scale existing systems relied upon by creators and fans.
- Investigate and resolve issues affecting user experience.
- Collaborate with client engineers on service contracts.
- Work with product managers, data scientists, designers, and other engineers.
- Engage with adjacent parts of the stack when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3+ years of experience in software development.
- Experience with Python or a similar programming language.
- Proven experience shipping backend systems and APIs for consumer-facing features.
- Ability to weigh trade-offs and explain technical decisions to stakeholders.
- A product mindset focused on enabling user experiences.
- Eagerness to tackle new challenges and grow skills.
