Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design scalable and resilient Spring Boot microservices and Java-based full stack commerce solutions.
- Define microservice decomposition, service contracts, data flows, architecture standards, and integration patterns.
- Guide backend and frontend integration design for high-performance commerce experiences.
- Review application designs and code for architectural, security, and technology-strategy alignment.
- Translate commerce requirements into technical architectures with product owners and business stakeholders.
- Drive coding patterns, testing strategies, observability, monitoring, and reliability practices.
- Partner with infrastructure and platform teams on deployment pipelines, environments, and resource utilization.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and reference implementations to engineering teams.
- Analyze performance and reliability metrics and support incident root-cause investigations.
- Document architectural decisions, non-functional requirements, and integration patterns.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise designing and implementing Spring Boot microservices for high-volume enterprise transactions.
- Strong proficiency in Java-based full stack engineering for commerce platforms, including backend services and integrations.
- Extensive experience with API design, RESTful services, and data modeling for scalable distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks, build tools, CI/CD practices, and version control systems.
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, caching, asynchronous processing, and application scalability.
- Understanding of security best practices, authentication, authorization, and data protection for customer-facing applications.
- Experience with containerized deployments and cloud-ready enterprise application architectures.
- Preferred: experience defining enterprise architecture standards and governance across large-scale commerce ecosystems.
- Preferred: ability to lead technical teams and influence decisions across product and engineering groups.
- Preferred: experience with observability, monitoring, operational excellence, and evaluating modern Java tools and frameworks.
