Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise applications within quality, schedule, and effort targets.
- Assist the Lead Engineer with low-level design.
- Estimate assigned tasks and provide accurate task status.
- Write and execute unit and integration test cases.
- Perform peer reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Participate in process improvement and knowledge sharing while protecting organizational intellectual property.
- Follow Mastercard security policies, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected security violations, and complete mandatory security training.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with React, Node.js, and enterprise web application development.
- Hands-on experience with core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring IoC, Spring AOP, Spring Security, SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, JSON, SOAP, Kafka, and ZooKeeper.
- Experience developing microservice applications and deploying them to at least one public cloud platform such as Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, or PCF.
- Experience using IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or MyEclipse.
- Experience writing JUnit tests and working with Maven, Ant, Gradle, and Git.
- Knowledge of design patterns and security concepts including authentication, authorization, and confidentiality.
- Strong logical, analytical, and design skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
- Experience with payments applications is desirable.
- Experience with Mockito, JBehave, Jenkins, Bamboo, Confluence, Rally, and Jira is desirable.
