Base Salary
$149k - $201k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and operate always-on product environments for customer demos, internal use, and stakeholder access.
- Build feature-branch and preview environments to support UX validation and rapid feedback.
- Enable internal dogfooding through long-running deployments of UDS products.
- Integrate Fleet Management, Edge Management, OS, and related system components.
- Create shared, reproducible infrastructure to reduce reliance on local environments.
- Support self-service demo and trial environment capabilities.
- Improve system reliability through continuous, real-world usage and validation.
- Partner with engineering, product, and UX teams to ensure environments reflect real user scenarios.
- Contribute to platform and product architecture decisions involving environments and integration.
Requirements
- US citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance are required.
- Strong experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused software engineering is required.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments, specifically Azure, is required.
- Deep familiarity with Kubernetes and container-based systems is required.
- Experience with Helm, GitOps workflows, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi is required.
- Experience building and operating shared or multi-tenant environments is required.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and deployment pipelines is required.
- Experience integrating distributed systems across multiple services is required.
- Ability to work across application, infrastructure, and networking boundaries is required.
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems is required.
- Strong problem-solving, independent judgment, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required.
- Active Secret clearance is preferred.
- System image, architecture, and deployment experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Army, Army Software Factory, or similar DoD software organizations is preferred.
- Experience with Zarf or UDS is preferred.
