Responsibilities
- Implement the complete software development lifecycle, including conceptualization, requirements, design, implementation, and integration.
- Develop firmware applications for embedded Linux platforms powering connected IoT devices and video applications.
- Apply strong C++ programming and debugging skills to embedded software development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, hardware, server software, and other subject areas.
- Work with quality assurance engineers to develop testing procedures, programs, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or computer engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience with embedded Linux systems and user-space development in connected products or video applications.
- Strong C++ programming and debugging skills.
- At least 2 years of experience in embedded security, including OpenSSL and hardware acceleration for cryptography, or edge AI/ML model integration and leveraging hardware capabilities.
- Understanding of inter-process communication, interrupts, and multithreading.
- Strong analytical, time-management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with high attention to detail and limited supervision.
