Responsibilities
- Build and implement strategic technical account plans that support sales quotas and cross-platform solutions.
- Position, demonstrate, and create high-level designs across the Palo Alto Networks portfolio based on customer needs.
- Conduct discovery to identify customers’ technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
- Lead technical presentations, customer-specific demos, workshops, and technical validation engagements.
- Coordinate Professional Services, Customer Success, specialists, channel resources, and Customer Support to support implementation and adoption.
- Develop end-to-end solutions and security architecture transformation roadmaps that drive customer value.
- Cultivate relationships with technical stakeholders and differentiate Palo Alto Networks against competitors.
Requirements
- Strong professional communication skills in German and English.
- Understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures.
- Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence business initiatives.
- Ability to influence and gain stakeholder buy-in in customer-facing or internal roles; prior presales experience is ideal.
- Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
- Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation technologies.
- Ability to partner with Customer Support to support successful solution implementation and adoption.
- Experience with complex sales involving long sales processes, multiple buying centers, and multi-product solutions is preferred.
