Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain native iOS applications using modern iOS frameworks and best practices.
- Translate product and experience requirements into technical designs, including low-level designs, API designs, and data models.
- Collaborate with backend, product, design, quality, and insurance partner teams to deliver end-to-end customer journeys.
- Write clean, testable, and observable code and contribute to automated testing, monitoring, and code reviews.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues while improving application reliability and performance.
- Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions while maintaining privacy and security standards.
- Independently drive projects from requirements through production across multiple initiatives and domains.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or five years of equivalent practical experience.
- Professional experience shipping native iOS applications with ownership from design through production.
- Strong experience with iOS architecture, low-level design, API integration, and data modeling.
- Proficiency with iOS tools, frameworks, testing, observability, and operational best practices.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver mobile features across multiple products or domains.
- Preferred qualifications include complex iOS architecture scaling, modularization, performance optimization, offline support, operational excellence, large-scale platforms or shared codebases, secure AI/ML integration, and familiarity with AI-driven development tools.
