Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with business users and leaders to define business problems, identify root causes, and establish success metrics.
- Lead the complete lifecycle of end-to-end solutions, including design, development, testing, deployment, adoption, and measurement.
- Design and implement AI-, LLM-, agent-, RPA-, and deterministic software-driven automations.
- Build rapid MVPs to validate hypotheses and own technical performance, monitoring, and production incident resolution.
- Measure outcomes such as efficiency, cost reduction, and revenue impact, while communicating technical decisions to nontechnical audiences.
- Mentor junior IC2 engineers.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in software engineering, data, automation, or similar roles.
- Proven experience independently taking projects from discovery through production.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with business teams and delivering measurable impact through technology.
- Proficiency in Python or another modern programming language, SQL, databases, REST API design and integration, software engineering fundamentals, and cloud deployment.
- Knowledge of AI and LLMs, intelligent agents, RPA, ETL/ELT data pipelines, CI/CD, containerization, and business intelligence.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
