Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI/ML platform components such as training clusters, feature stores, inference services, GenAI, vision, RAG, and NLP systems.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code for scalable deployments.
- Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines for automated model training, testing, and deployment.
- Integrate AI services with existing systems through APIs, messaging, and data pipelines.
- Monitor performance, reliability, and model drift while establishing alerting and incident-response runbooks.
- Optimize systems through capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster-recovery strategies.
- Write and maintain reusable code and libraries in C#, Python, and Java.
- Collaborate with architecture, data science, DevOps, security, and product teams and document system designs, SOPs, runbooks, and API specifications.
- Lead technical demonstrations, deep dives, knowledge-sharing sessions, and communication of technical concepts to business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical/computer engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience, including 3+ years in software engineering and 2+ years building and operating AI/ML platforms.
- Proven experience delivering production-grade AI services at scale.
- Advanced Python skills, including asynchronous programming and multithreading, with familiarity with C# or Java.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, distributed systems, software design patterns, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience building MLOps pipelines with GitLab CI, Argo CD, and MLflow.
- Experience designing RAG and agentic workflows using LangChain and LangGraph.
- Deep knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Experience with Kafka, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Beam for data ingestion and processing.
- Experience implementing observability and alerting with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Knowledge of data pipeline security and GDPR/CCPA implications.
- Excellent spoken and written English, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, communication skills, and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to stay current with AI/ML, MLOps, and platform engineering trends.
