Responsibilities
- Participate in the analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support of new or revised application systems.
- Build and modernize Wealth Technology horizontal platform capabilities.
- Adopt internal and external cloud solutions to automate environment management and improve testing efficiency.
- Support automation for established and legacy technologies to facilitate migration to strategic platforms.
- Develop Java applications using advanced system-flow knowledge and ensure designs follow the architecture blueprint.
- Establish standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Resolve complex, high-impact business and system problems through detailed analysis of processes and industry standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, risk analysis, application development, and implementation planning.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend programming solutions and support applications.
- Champion development best practices and coach junior analysts and team members.
- Assess and manage technology, compliance, operational, and business risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience is recommended, including systems analysis and software application programming.
- 10+ years of hands-on core Java experience.
- Deep expertise in the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Gradle, Maven, and other build platforms.
- Thorough knowledge of clean code practices and test-driven development.
- Strong Linux/Unix skills.
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka and other middleware tools.
- Knowledge of OpenShift and Docker.
- Hands-on experience using Frontier AI tools.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects, with knowledge of consulting or project management techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle changing requirements.
- Ability to operate independently, exercise judgment, advise stakeholders, and coach less experienced analysts.
