Base Salary
$176k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and scale the platform serving real estate professionals, buyers, and sellers.
- Lead the design and development of scalable distributed microservices.
- Develop well-tested, fault-tolerant, and high-performance software applications.
- Architect services using event-driven systems and server-to-server communication protocols.
- Inspire, recruit, and mentor fellow engineers.
- Contribute to automated testing, monitoring, operational excellence, and scalable engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience developing comprehensive, well-tested, and high-performance software applications.
- Proficiency with Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience with gRPC, Thrift, Kafka, event-driven systems, and microservices architecture.
- 3+ years of experience using AWS or other cloud technologies.
- Understanding of software development and architecture best practices.
- Experience with Scrum or Agile development methodologies.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and customer-focused delivery skills.
