Base Salary

$121k - $158k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver full-stack software features from design through production deployment.
  • Build frontend applications, middleware, APIs, and backend integrations for remotely controlled and monitored power systems.
  • Translate product and design requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Own feature delivery and contribute to architecture, engineering standards, code quality practices, and technical decisions.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and shared best practices.
  • Contribute to the Generac Fleet platform and related software initiatives supporting Generac’s dealer network.
  • Apply AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve software productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience delivering production-level software and owning features from concept through deployment.
  • At least 3 years of full-stack development experience with TypeScript and React.
  • At least 1 year of demonstrated integration and adoption of AI-assisted development tools in daily work.
  • Preferred experience with Java, Golang, AWS, Azure, Terraform, TanStack, Tailwind, Vite, Storybook, and Kubernetes.
  • Preferred experience implementing observability and alerting pipelines.
  • Experience with technical mentoring, engineering leadership, and influencing architecture, standards, and technical direction.
  • Preferred advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
