Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable software solutions for an email-protection inference platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Architect and integrate AI-driven features for model inference using LLMs, RAG systems, and evaluation frameworks.
- Coordinate cross-team execution and ensure integrations are effective across the product portfolio.
- Monitor ecosystem dependencies and performance metrics across distributed systems.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Evaluate third-party solutions and programming languages for architecturally significant decisions.
- Mentor junior engineers, enforce engineering best practices, and conduct code reviews.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of experience with a master’s degree in software engineering, software development, or related areas.
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex cloud-native distributed software solutions using AWS, Python, Java, and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Java, with intermediate experience in Golang or similar languages.
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills for complex scale and performance challenges.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- AWS and Kubernetes certifications are preferred.
- Hands-on Databricks experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tools such as MLFlow for model deployment and inference is preferred.
