Responsibilities

Collaborate with geographically distributed teams, users, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical architecture.
Develop scalable enterprise-wide data models and services for exchange-listed product and pricing reference data.
Apply knowledge of listed product lifecycles and front-to-back processing across the firm.
Implement appropriate caching and messaging technologies.
Manage overall deliverables and supervise a team of two to three team members.
Develop and maintain software solutions supporting institutional securities business needs.

At least 7 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science.
Strong understanding of Java technology and open-source frameworks including Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Experience with integration middleware, Service-Oriented Architecture, cloud-native design, microservices, Spark, and Kafka.
Experience with at least one public cloud offering: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Database development and debugging experience with stored procedures, Sybase, and/or DB2.
NoSQL experience, preferably MongoDB, plus database design and modeling skills.
Python knowledge is preferred; familiarity with Agile and DevOps is advantageous.
