Base Salary
$115k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and test software applications or operating systems according to design specifications.
- Build and evolve enterprise-grade Java applications, REST services, versioned APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
- Own products end to end from requirements and design through development, deployment, maintenance, user acceptance, and ongoing support.
- Implement authentication and authorization integrations, including MFA/2FA, OAuth, LDAP, secure sign-in, and re-authentication flows.
- Build responsive production web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, Angular JS, or React.
- Develop SQL-based data models and production-safe database queries.
- Implement event-driven systems, asynchronous processing, cloud integrations, workflow orchestration, managed databases, caching, and monitoring.
- Develop automated unit and API contract tests and support TDD practices.
- Build and debug CI/CD pipelines and manage source code in enterprise environments.
- Perform production observability and incident triage and support test management and release tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Six years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a software developer-related occupation.
- Experience with Java, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and enterprise-grade services.
- Experience designing and evolving versioned REST APIs and architecting scalable, reliable, and secure distributed applications.
- Experience with MFA/2FA, OAuth, LDAP, JUnit, Mockito, API contract testing, Kafka, Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, Angular JS or React, and responsive frontend UI engineering.
- Experience with Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, SVN, Bitbucket, Splunk, New Relic, ALM/Rally, and structured API formats or specifications.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, YAML, and OpenAPI/Swagger for schema-driven integration and validation.
