Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Develop full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, cloud services, and related technologies.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to produce visualizations and reporting that improve software applications and systems.
- Identify problems and data patterns to improve coding practices and system architecture.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs through review, testing, and secure coding practices.
- Contribute reusable AI-assisted development patterns and guide peers on safe and effective usage.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- At least 3 years of applied software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React or React Native, AWS, Kafka, Terraform, IaC, and EaC.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
