Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and operate Python services and automation for AI governance, security, privacy, and compliance.
- Build tooling for AI application inventory, onboarding, risk classification, access reviews, policy compliance, control testing, exception management, approval workflows, and audit evidence collection.
- Translate governance and security requirements into technical controls, automated checks, alerts, evaluations, and measurable outcomes.
- Build AI-enabled internal applications and workflows using enterprise model APIs and SDKs, including structured outputs, function or tool calling, versioning, guardrails, fallbacks, rate limits, and human approval patterns.
- Create dashboards and monitoring for platform health, usage, licensing, costs, access posture, policy exceptions, security events, and audit readiness.
- Monitor and support enterprise AI tools, execute documented configuration and API updates, and maintain alerting dashboards and runbooks.
- Administer provisioning, de-provisioning, role assignments, access reviews, and compliance evidence for the AI tool portfolio.
- Build and maintain SSO and API integrations, resolve routine access and configuration issues, and escalate complex cases.
- Track platform usage and adoption metrics and support internal platform onboarding.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, IT operations, or DevOps, with some SaaS or AI tooling administration exposure.
- Strong production Python experience, including services and clients, data processing, package management, type checking, testing, structured logging, exception handling, and secure configuration management.
- Hands-on experience designing and integrating REST APIs, webhooks, and event-based workflows, including authentication, authorization, retries, rate limits, schema validation, and API-version management.
- Experience building AI-enabled applications or workflows with enterprise model APIs or SDKs.
- Understanding of structured model outputs, tool calling, prompt and configuration versioning, human-in-the-loop controls, model evaluation, guardrails, and AI observability.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience designing data models, pipelines, queries, and dashboards for operational, security, compliance, cost, or usage reporting.
- Experience with Git, pull requests, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of cloud identity and access management, including provisioning, role-based access, and audit logging.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog, PagerDuty, CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Preferred experience with enterprise AI platforms, SSO/SCIM, Okta or Azure AD, integrations with enterprise systems, AI-specific security risks, governance frameworks, LLM evaluation, red teaming, agent observability, prompt lifecycle management, or guardrail platforms.
- Clear written and verbal communication and comfort following runbooks and escalating appropriately.
