Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product development team and stakeholders.
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes platforms using Cluster API across bare-metal and cloud providers.
- Set up and maintain production and staging infrastructure.
- Design, deploy, and manage GitLab CI pipelines, GitOps workflows, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Respond to monitoring events through periodic day and night on-call rotations.
- Optimize infrastructure maintenance and support processes.
- Participate in the design of complex IT systems.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, SRE, DevOps Engineer, or Platform Engineer.
- Demonstrate strong Linux-like operating system administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Have practical Kubernetes experience.
- Have experience with AWS, GCP, OCI, bare-metal infrastructure, Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane, GitOps, Flux, ArgoCD, GitLab or GitHub CI/CD, Ansible, and Saltstack.
- Have experience managing CDN, traffic, and domains with Cloudflare, Fastly, Akamai, AWS CloudFront, or Route 53.
- Have experience with monitoring systems such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Have practical experience with PostgreSQL clusters, including Patroni or CNPG, and Kafka management using Kafka or Strimzi.
- Have B1+ intermediate English and Russian language skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Cluster API, Sveltos, Fleet, Oracle OCI, distributed systems, Bash, Python, Go, Agile methodologies, and AI-powered workflow tools.
