Base Salary
$244k - $305k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced machine learning solutions, including recommendation engines, ranking systems, intent detection models, and intelligence integrations.
- Lead machine learning, data, and product engineers in developing ML applications for Guest and Host experiences.
- Drive novel ML systems, product integrations, and performance optimizations from early concepts through production.
- Lead, mentor, challenge, and grow software engineers and applied scientists across the organization.
- Raise the organization’s AI and ML skill set through teaching, mentoring, and engineering maturity initiatives.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a Principal or Senior Staff Engineer role with ownership responsibility for large-scale software systems.
- Experience designing and developing scalable AI and ML systems and services.
- Deep passion for building ML-powered products and hands-on implementation.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and fostering engineering maturity across multiple organizations.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, curious, builder-oriented approach.

- Base pay range is $244,000–$305,000 USD.
