Responsibilities
- Build and improve Braze’s Cloud Data Ingestion systems for integrating customer cloud warehouse data with the platform
- Develop and enhance the Data Transformation platform for customizing data flows from external sources
- Own features end-to-end across backend systems and frontend experiences
- Drive architectural decisions and contribute to technical strategy
- Deliver scalable systems that process high volumes of data and traffic
- Build data pipelines, asynchronous processing, and ETL capabilities
Requirements
- 6+ years of full-stack development experience focused on scalable web applications
- Strong backend development experience with ownership of features end-to-end, including frontend delivery
- Track record of driving architectural decisions and contributing to technical strategy
- Strong understanding of software design, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience working in an agile team environment
- Ability to learn the technologies needed to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Experience building software at scale and handling high volumes of data and traffic is preferred
- Experience building automated data pipelines, asynchronous processing, or ETL applications is preferred
- Experience with Python/Django, React, Ruby on Rails, Snowflake, microservice architecture, and distributed systems is preferred
- Familiarity with modern data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics is preferred

- Ontario pay range is CA$186,838–CA$299,886 per year for candidates based in Ontario
