Responsibilities
- Build connected live-service features across client, backend, and data systems for the UFC game.
- Design scalable systems that remain stable during global live-service demand and peak player activity.
- Develop online systems including matchmaking, social features, marketplace, progression, real-time gameplay, and cross-platform play.
- Integrate platform and shared technology services with internal and external partners.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to deliver engaging online experiences.
- Use live insights to refine features and explore AI-assisted tools for development efficiency, automation, and testing workflows.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer developing online games or scalable online applications.
- Proficiency in C++ and comfort working in large-scale, real-time codebases.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL.
- Experience with networked systems, including client/server models, service integration, latency considerations, and multithreaded environments.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Git or Perforce.
- Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and develop clean, maintainable solutions.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools or coding agents to prototype, accelerate execution, and automate workflows, with the ability to critically review and validate generated code.
