Responsibilities
- Deliver critical projects that bring value to customers.
- Mentor the team and uphold software development best practices.
- Advise on technical approaches that encourage engineering excellence.
- Architect scalable web APIs and backend systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to solve technical challenges.
- Advise on technical debt consolidation.
- Identify bottlenecks and performance issues with actionable solutions.
- Conduct technical interviews to attract high-performing candidates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building highly scalable backend systems.
- Knowledge of GoLang, AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
- Prior experience in ad tech is an asset.
- Extensive experience writing unit and end-to-end tests.
- Experience collaborating with Product & Design on product experiences.
- Experience working with large data sets.
- An appetite for using AI to simplify complexity.
