Senior Software Engineer, Integrations
StackAdaptResponsibilities
- Deliver critical projects as a significant individual contributor that create customer value.
- Mentor team members and lead by example in software development best practices.
- Conduct rigorous code and technical specification reviews.
- Advise teams on pragmatic technical approaches that promote engineering excellence and developer happiness.
- Architect scalable web APIs, component libraries, and backend systems aligned with roadmap goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and senior engineers to solve technical challenges across teams.
- Advise on technical debt consolidation to efficiently support business needs.
- Identify bottlenecks and system-wide performance issues and recommend actionable solutions.
- Conduct technical interviews to attract and evaluate candidates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building highly scalable backend systems.
- Knowledge of GoLang, AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
- Prior ad tech experience is an asset.
- Extensive experience writing unit tests and end-to-end tests.
- Experience collaborating with Product and Design to build and iterate on high-impact end-to-end product experiences.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Interest in using AI as a tool to unpack complexity and simplify problems.
