Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build production AI systems for document understanding and retrieval.
- Design and deliver core services for enterprise document processing.
- Own systems responsible for document ingestion, parsing, and retrieval.
- Drive improvements in retrieval and answer quality, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Architect highly available, multi-tenant cloud services.
- Mentor senior engineers and influence architectural decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in building large-scale software systems.
- Significant experience in shipping production AI products.
- Strong backend engineering skills in Python and/or C#.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with scalable APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of mentoring engineers.
