Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to design scalable data architectures using Databricks technology.
- Develop account strategies to grow platform usage for assigned accounts.
- Establish the Databricks Lakehouse architecture as the standard for customers.
- Build and present reference architectures and demo applications for prospects.
- Consult on big data architectures and validate integrations with cloud services.
- Promote Databricks open-source projects through community engagement.
Requirements
- 4+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
- Expertise in big data engineering, data warehousing, or data science.
- Experience translating business needs into technology solutions.
- Fluent in SQL and database technology.
- Debug and development experience in Python, Scala, Java, or R.
- Desired experience with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
